I am just a few days late getting started with BeckyB’s October Squares Challenge. I figure it’s better to be kinda late than never.
The theme this month is Kind…
-
- Something of the kind (similar to something or even a carbon copy)
- Our imagination kindled (inspire us!)
- Of its kind (a unique object or an example of something such as a flower or bird)
- Two of a Kind (or one, or three or multiple!)
- Kindred spirits (kindness in action or photographs of people)
- Take kindly to (something you like)
Also an entry for SixWordSaturday
~~~
I recently discovered a display of gourds (which I used to call baby gourds) piled in a bin at a local farm stand. Ready for fall decorating for those who are so inspired!
I love those small gourds. The colors and shapes are wonderful!
I do love those little guys, but they seem out of place in Arizona, so I’m not sure if I’ll be getting any this year or not.
They are cute, aren’t they! I hadn’t thought of them as regional. Perhaps they don’t either 😉
They’re sold here, but I’m not sure they grow here.
Oh, I hadn’t thought of that!
Just seems odd in the desert, like putting out dried leaves when there aren’t any of those sorts of trees here. Still seems fall-like to me, but that’s because of my Midwest roots.
It might be fun to have around anyway, as odd as it may seem. A conversation starter for one thing 🙂
Not really any visitors right now with COVID.
Very colourful. I don’t do Halloween, but my daughter makes up for me 🙂 🙂
