I love sunflowers. This morning, I saw one lone sunflower growing out of a crack in a curb. It was about two feet tall, and across the street there used to be a patch of over six feet tall sunflowers growing. This year there are none and it looked like it was looking over wondering where all its relatives had gone.
They are amazing, aren’t they! That lone sunflower is a true survivor. I saw one in this field that was bent over and it looked like it was so very tired….
This is wonderful!!!! My sunflowers don’t have to turn much since where they are planted, the sun only comes from one direction, but that doesn’t diminish their dedication. 🌻

Thank you! These were definitely dedicated – holding up under the blazing sun during one of the most hot and humid days of the summer!
