One Word Sunday: What?

I never did get an explanation for what the heck is a giant chair doing in this front yard?
…during a visit to the Shelburne Museum last summer.
Who were they expecting?

LOL – weird as it is, I have a hunch for the purpose. We have a local brewery here in our home town that loans out big chairs like that to the local bars. They have one at their store too – they are for photo ops, people climb on them and pose for pictures. The one they have holds 6 people, or more if you’re good at packing in a crowd. I suspect they aren’t social distancing friendly now though.

That is a great hunch. As it is on the grounds of a museum, that makes perfect sense. Hopefully I’ll be able to go back there again someday and check it out more closely! 🙂

I think it’s so you can feel smaller (in size, not value)…if you’re needing to, that is….like when being an adult is just way too much to deal with 🙂 Love the photo!!

Lovely spot for a giant to sit for awhile and enjoy the flowers. 😊
