Fifteen Favorites

Inspired by Lens-Artist Photo Challenge #77: Favorite Photos of 2019

~~~
Choose my favorite photographs of 2019?
That’s a tough one (which I made a bit easier by not including family photos).
I managed to pare it down to 15(!). It was an especially exciting year as I dove into the world of macro photography. An additional photographic challenge.
I am curious…which one is your favorite?
1: January…ice crackling on the river…
2: February…a welcome color display…
  1. They are all quite lovely. The Magical Pond, though, captures for me the magic of one’s first glimpse in childhood of such a scene, stumbled across in the course of a woods walk or perhaps canoeing past a little offshoot pond. Such sights, when seen through the years, can lose that connection to one’s child soul … and this photo helps to bring it back.
    1. Thank you. If I had to choose just one, that would be it. Perhaps that’s why…there is just something about that scene that drew me to it a number of times. I like your perspective on it. 🙂
