Cee’s challenge topic this week:Â 1 item or the Number One
During a cruise to Bermuda in 2008, I enjoyed the beautiful scenery both on and off the ship.
One day, I noticed this bird perched on the ship’s rail. All by itself. Taking in the sun’s rays.
Perhaps sensing that I was not an experienced bird photographer, it held still long enough for me to take this picture. Obviously used to tourists and enjoying the attention.
I have no idea what kind of bird it was. I welcome any ideas!
No idea what specie the bird is but it’s got nice feathers. I visited Bermuda in the 90’s on honeymoon. I still love that island and it’s friendly people!

I’m not absolutely certain, but I think it is a juvenile seagull.

Such a fun take on the prompt. I love the bird photo – his/her feet the shape of a…wait for it…Bermuda triangle. But…at least I try! 😉

I love when they linger for us. It’s a gull of some type, and I always have to look them up. Depends on where in the world you were when you saw it and what stage of life its in. I tried for you, but didn’t have any luck.

Thanks for trying! I figured you would be the go-to person. So it will remain a Mystery Gull.
