What is it about sunlight in the afternoon?

Well, I know it’s something about the angle and the sun’s position and all that, but really. It is pretty amazing. Pretty and Amazing.

It never fails to capture my attention and make me smile.

  2. Lovely photo. At first I didn’t see the afternoon light aspect, but the more I look, the more I feel it! Things I associate with afternoon light: walking home from school, berry-picking in the summer,
    being home sick and napping …

    1. Thanks! Yes, those are other afternoon light connections & I share the walking home from school one. šŸ™‚
      Now that I think about it, it’s only in the last year or so (after getting this camera!) – that I’ve been drawn to this perspective.

      1. See? We’re so often on the same artistic and “heart” page šŸ™‚ I imagine living in a fabulous house, even if it were small, with a stained glass window–maybe octagonal šŸ™‚

      2. We replaced the front door of the house we sold 4 years ago as it needed a fresh update. The year (or 2?) before we moved, we got one that had a small rectangular section of red patterned stained glass at the top of the door. We were able to enjoy it for a short while before we moved. šŸ™‚
