Sunshine’s Macro Monday #33
~~~
I don’t know if the warmer than average winter (so far) is the cause of this larger than average (as far as I know) growth on a fallen birch tree.
All I do know is it seems to mirror how life has been lately.
Mushrooming – everywhere – out of control.
At least that’s the way it feels.
How about you?
Beautiful mushroom. 😊. And yes, things are mushrooming a bit.
Perfect analogy, the photo speaks it well…and I think some of us more sensitive folk felt the “mushrooming” effect earlier than the BIG announcements of the virus began. Speaking personally, I didn’t know what was happening yet (Coronavirus)–but I felt everything growing way beyond control in my world…within, and without. Brilliant post, my friend!
Thank you so much. So much growing beyond our control – all at once – can be terrifying.
You’re welcome. Even with my devout faith, there are days my knees weaken a bit 🙂
Yes, we do–and today’s a remarkably improved day and mood/outlook, so I’m hugely glad and grateful. Thank you for caring, Andrea–I keep you in my heart, thoughts and prayers each day…you can count on it! 🙂 ❤
Wow! I broke open a giant puffball when I was raking the other day. It was just WAITING.
What an unusual texture for a mushroom – looks almost like the bark of a tree.
It is craziness – just when you think it’s getting quiet and things are improving, the panic begins anew!
Hang in there: keep safe & stay healthy!
Thank you! I thought it was unusual too.
The craziness continues to overwhelm at times. You stay safe and healthy as well 🙂
