I love this. It’s hunting season here, too, and though I no longer need to drape the dogs in bright orange vests since the part of the Refuge where we go is a no hunting zone, it’s surrounded by hunting areas (also the Refuge). Where I used to take Dusty and Bear was all hunting all the time…
Thanks. This is fairly close to where I live and deer have been shot and wounded here. Hunters should know better. This deer may know me, as I often see it and we pause and look each other in the eye. It is usually accompanied by its mama, but not this time. It’s scary and I hope the hunters go somewhere else.
