Nancy Merrill Photography is hosting a photo challenge:
The theme this week is water.
I have two photos to contribute.
Did you know that summer squash is 94% water?
Even though it (and its cousin the zucchini) overtake local gardens by the end of the summer, I still enjoy these summer vegetables over and over. Sliced, chopped, steamed, roasted…and in a cheese casserole if so inspired.

…from summer
to winter…
One February morning, I raised the shade and found this…

I love the photo of rain on the window.

Excellent choices for the water prompt! I don’t know which one is my favorite, so I’ll vote for both at the same time!

It’s a tie then! š
The decision was too hard to make. Thanks for your kind words and comment!

I love the photo of the squash. I have noticed zucchini and yellow squash “weeping” after I cut them. And the water on the window is certainly not a very welcome sight, but makes for a really neat photo. Thanks for joining the challenge!

Great challenge idea – so many ways to “see” water. Heavy condensation on a window…the upside is the photo op! Thank you for your comment.
