BeckyB October Squares: Kind
We are in the middle of a severe drought here in the northeast USA and nobody complains when dark clouds appear in the sky.
Mother Nature was kind enough to grace us with a brief period of rain one morning last week. The leaves are falling faster than usual and one landed on the back stairs in time for a photo. The wind picked up and within minutes it was gone.
Unfortunately…the drought continues.

Thank you! I hope not too. It’s scary to see ponds totally drying up out in the woods. (at least there were less mosquitoes!)

I guess it’s all relative as far as what part of the country you live in. Not fun no matter what!

Absolutely not! The costs of desalinating ocean water need to come way down soon. Most everything depends on good old H2O to survive.

It’s a concern we share here, too. While back in the UK they all have webbed feet! Uneven distribution 😦 Nice leaf! 🙂

Thanks! At least I got a nice picture out of the little bit of rain. Yes, the uneven distribution is alarming – on the US west coast they could use some rain to help with all the awful fires.

Oh my, sorry to hear about the drought…the photo is magnificent in it’s simplicity, the 2 colors would be my choice for a room (if I were decorating).
