I don’t know anything about the skills involved in taking pictures, but whatever you’ve done in this lovely photo, for me it works. There’s a creamy quality that enhances the colors and lends a touch of magic. Is that really what these buds look like up close? Reminiscent of characteristics of Georgia O’Keeffe’s flower paintings.

Wow, thank you so much for your kind words. I thought it looked kind of painting-ish, but comparing it to Georgia O’Keeffe is high praise indeed. I went into several crouching down contortions to capture the light, so I guess it worked!

Such a beautiful light you’ve captured. That bud is stunning. ❤ Don't know if you're into cropping a photo, but an inch off the top could be interesting to draw the eye more to the bud. Hope you don't mind my suggestion. 🙂
